In a significant discovery, Strickland Metals has identified a vast 7.5-kilometer-long intrusion-related gold system adjacent to its Dusk ’til Dawn gold deposit within the Yandal project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. This revelation follows an extensive evaluation process involving the analysis of new geophysical and geochemical data alongside historical exploration records.

The exploration efforts unveiled two substantial mineralized corridors rich in gold, molybdenum, copper, bismuth, and tellurium along the 7.5km strike zone. Previous drilling in the area had been limited to shallow air core samples, prompting Strickland to revisit and reassess the data, leading to the discovery of minerals like chlorite, K-feldspar, epidote, and pyrite within the drill chips.

To provide expert insights into these findings, Strickland enlisted the expertise of geochemist Nigel Brand and geophysicist Barry Bourne. Their analysis suggests a significant fluid flow within the zone, indicating the presence of a substantial gold system. This development underscores the remarkable potential of the Yandal ground to deliver substantial value for Strickland Metals.

With high-grade gold already identified in the region, including notable drill results, the company is optimistic about the presence of additional gold reserves, especially in the unexplored main target area.
